Truck has some balls now and doesn’t shift all over the place.

It's about 2 hours from ATL to my house. About 1.5 hours from ATL to Chocco! We'll get together one of these days and ride!

 

Anyone ever had just one tag light not working?
My 06 Taco had a tag light go out and I decided to replace both. My Passenger side is fine but driver side has nothing. I’ve tried another bulb and nothing. Tried the bulb I knew was working and still nothing.

I have not seen a fuse for just tag lights but I may be missing it. All my other lights work fine. many idea?

 

Do you have a Voltmeter you could test the connection on said dead socket?
I had a similar situation on my trailer, and the contact point just wore out.

 

I do and it looks like I’m not getting power there at all.

where do the tag lights get power from?

 

Is it a single lead that goes to the tag for both lights?

I will have to check where the power comes from. Odd that one is working, must have lost the connection in the splice.

No sir. It looks like there are single leads from both coming off different harnesses.

I’m thinking there is a break in the wire but I want to be sure power is being sent to the socket and start tracing backwards. I’m just not sure where the power is supplied from.

Guys I’ve about had it with these two piece lug nuts that the second gens have. Every time I work on the truck at least one has either swelled or become warped, and I have to chisel the cap off. Do one piece lug nuts for factory wheels exist? I know that they do for aftermarket, but I’m not really in the market for new wheels just yet.
