I think the 2020 are even harder to grip than the 2016-2019 ones! And they brought back chrome lol

 

Yes, the volume knob is absolutely terrible in my 2020. I know there will be a replacement sooner or later. It looks like the 2019 Rav4 knobs would fit, but I haven't figured out how to buy just the knobs yet.

Hanging on for the 2020, also. For me personally, The backlighting wouldn't be too big of a deal, not sure about others. Maybe just machining the bottom portion of the knob about 1/8" smaller diameter than the top would cast enough light/shadow to draw the eye to the knob?

 

These look nice. Ordered a set and gonna see if they feel/look better than my Hondos.

I got mine in and they are great! They are also now my permanent knobs. The Hondo Garage knobs are better than the OEM but these are way better than both. Quality, feel and how it fits on the headunit is perfect. Highly recommend!!

 

Just ordered these. The stock knobs are a joke. Looking forward to getting them.

I had an idea and my co-worker had the right tool. Works perfect. waller out what i'd guess is 3d printed material in Tacowiede's knob and simply glue in the 2020 knob. fits great. Tacowided I'm still anxious to see what you come up with for the 2020 knobs. in the mean time I'm good Yes I'm from Arkansas and I said "waller" and every damn one of you knew what I meant...LOL

 

Yes, I knew exactly what you meant lol. 30 years' experience in a machine shop I've had to fix a few things that were "wallered" out.
I'm just working on a new 3d printed insert. I had one prototype made but it didn't fight right so I made some changes and am waiting on another one. The process is taking longer than I would like because I don't have access to a 2020 truck. I haven't found anyone on TW with a 2020 who's in Central Illinois.

Waller? Nope, not me, but if you would have said hogged out I would have understood that!

 

Installed mine, fantastic addition. I don’t use the knobs but it’s the first thing I’ve done to my truck that the wife said is great, she usually just rolls her eyes and shakes her head.

 

I meant to but forgot to take pick of both knobs on at night. I'm sure backlight is mostly gone if not 100% gone. for me that's way on top of the worse problem got it made list in life. I'll try remember take a pic and post tonight. I still haven't modified the 2nd knob yet so I'll get a good ref pic with both knobs on
