We got called out once to assist in finding a crashed plane. The military had no luck the night before zeroing in on the beacon, so we did it from the ground (signal was bouncing off nearby hilltop cliffs making it difficult).
Found it. Besides the dead pilot, there was 200 kilos of cocaine on board. After the cocaine, and pilot were removed, a salvage crew came in to recover what was left of the plane, and found $USD 10,000 in cash underneath the twisted metal. Known criminal was 2 days overdue, suspect because of weather, and ran out of fuel.

Should have kept your mouth shut and hiked it out.
2 lines a piece would make you 12 hour hike into 2.

It was delicious, Sheep Creek Lodge, and straight forward simple but with all our Thanksgiving favorites. At half the price of the place we've gone the last few years, and no big crowd to contend with, I think they will be our new Thanksgiving tradition. Even with the snow and slushy 20 mile drive from Willow out to the lodge, it was well worth it. And I really like giving my business to the good people there. Thanks again for the heads up Bill . :)
