So I can't seem to find any information on it, does anyone know if the anytime backup harness would work with the

$1,200 alpine ilx-f309tcm HALO9 9" receiver for toyota tacoma 2016-2019 - compatible with carplay and android auto (no-cd)

alpine ilx-f309tcm or am I stuck having to get the alpine specific one?

No idea for sure but I would think if it worked with the factory radio it should work with the Alpine one as that radio is specific for Tacoma's

 

That's my thought process too. But there's the problem that I'm an idiot and I may be overlooking something.

Ok you stereo gurus, i’ve been poking around at speakers on Black Friday, if I go component, do I have to retire everything? It looks like i’d have to use the factory wires to go from the stereo to a central crossover (find a place to mount it also), then run new wires from there to each speaker whereas the co-ax speakers are more plug and play. What i’m thinking is, get decent co-ax speakers for the door and new tweeters for the a-pillar.

 

Someone I know is looking for a metal 55-gallon drum with the seal ring. Where could I find something like that?

 

My secret santa name is overseas at a military base. Anything you guys can think of that would be a good gift? He owns a third gen and seems to like doing his own oil changes so I was thinking the Fumoto valve, but need some other ideas and he didn't post in the TWSS wish list thread.

 

If there's a Grainger (or other industrial supply company) near you, they'd be a good bet. I see them pop up on Ebay fairly commonly too. Maybe Craigslist, but it's spotty for stuff like that.

About an hour away.

 

I have 4. I was going to use them for dock floats but went a different route. They are almost brand new besides being dirty from sitting outside. I'm in Hopkinton, MA and could definitely be persuaded to get them out of my yard....
