did you know you don't necessarily need to change ANY fluids in your truck other than the engine oil?

    no antifreeze change
    no brake fluid change
    no MT fluid change
    no differential fluid change

somebody on TW has never changed those in 23yrs and 400k+ miles

Oils break down over time; other items can come to contaminate these fluids as well which would prompt one to replace them sooner than later as well.

Kind of odd for you to quote me with a completely unrelated post

That sir is a pattern interrupt.

Having spent a part of my youth in a car dealership, I can relate. What's the most deals that you've closed in a given day?

Well mandatory day to work... I show up. Sit there for 1 hour. Not a single car comes in. I say fuck it and leave. Will I get in trouble? Who knows. But honestly don’t care.

    Around 14-15 something like that.

It was equally bad when I signed up over 22+ deals one day because the county had purchased a bunch of Chargers as police vehicles from us.

My cousin works for the county as an Engineer and came to our thanksgiving party on the clock. He said “Who’s going to call on Thanksgiving?”

Got ya. So estimate 30-40 minutes per deal for closing. Computers make it easy.

Back in my days, it was all IBM Selectric typewriters, multi layered ink backed paper forms, and ten key adding machines. God forbid somebody transposed part of a VIN number that caused it all to be reworked.

yeah I keep mine at 35 max for the street...anything higher and it's way too rough. When I brought my truck home a few years ago the dealership had the KO2s at over 50psi and it felt like the rear of the truck was going to jump sideways every time I hit a small bump on the freeway

I haven't done the chalk test either but I haven't had any unusual wear at 32 - 35psi

We have a docupad setup, which is basically a big ass touch screen that covers my entire desk where people sign their documents.

The process of signing up is much more efficient than it ever has been, especially with sending documents out to the bank (electronically).

But going over product with people and the million questions they have can cause the finance process go from 15-20 mins up to an hour.

    CA living, costs money :luvya:

He's good for other things like.......uhm........telling me what Milwaukee equipment he likes best.

I'm one of maybe 5 people in the entire company that went into work today...didn't request it off because I have too many other days I need off coming up. And I can't go home because if you don't log your hours the day after a holiday (without getting it signed for 2 weeks in advance) you don't get paid for the holiday. So I'm stuck here with jack all to do, unless the CEO tells me to leave.

You guys get to keep me entertained
