That being said, hard to get struts wrong. They’re really simple.

Made it home before it started raining. I don't know how I'm going be able to mount the console. There must be a bracket that is under the carpet that it bolts to.

The sears are going to take a lot of work to be usable with the brown interior. If I decide to keep them, I'll need to use Krylon Fusion to paint the plastic parts brown or black.

I can paint the mirrors black. The tweeter sails are way too large to use on the 99 model.

I wonder if the bottom seat cushion can be swapped between the driver and passenger side?

Thunderstorms for tomorrow. It will be several days before I can make another trip down to the yard. Maybe I can get brown plastic parts from another 4Runner with bad seats. It would be better to have a real console from a Tacoma.

If I can get the mirrors cleaned up, painted black, and mounted, the trip would have been worth it.

 

i still have 2 of them sitting in my basement.

 

that console should fit. your just going to need the bracket from a 4runner. ive seen 4runners with taco consoles

 

Got the Spiker ones on my family xmas wishlist, looking forward to getting them. Had to think of some things under $100 to ask for from the family, realized it's not that easy to do when it comes to truck parts lol. Those and the heavy duty inner fender skirts since my stock ones are trashed.

Should probably put another Trasharoo on the list since a rat chewed through the bottom of mine earlier this year.

 

im debating gas struts for hood props... hmmm tundra has em. but i constantly have to work around them... but im also messing in areas you typically dont
