I bought a 99 taoma sr5 at an auction and I am very pleased iwth it. However, the brake light in the dash and what I think is the airbag light too is staying on. I checked brake fluid level hoping that was the prolem with the brake light but that was ok any other idea what it could be why these 2 lights are staying on,,and no the emergency brake is no pull either?

    thanks,

    Carl

you will have to have to codes pulled for the airbag. the brake light is possibly the switch and the end of the ebrake.

yes a bad spiral cable would cause the airbag light to come on but would have nothing to do with the brake light coming on.
