Well, we said goodbye to our Cloe tonight.

    20191127_213359.jpg

What an awesome life she spent with us. She was a special little girl. She waited for mommy to come home from work one more time. And then her brother Riley came and took her home.

    FB_IMG_1574919175626.jpg

They were both a very special part of our life.

I am very sorry for your loss. Our companions mean soo much to us in soo many ways. For some, they can be our children, our companions, our partners and sometimes they are all that. I truly feel for you. I miss every one of my dogs. Every. Single. One.

You know... I'm actually very at peace with Cloe's passing. (Emotional... don't get me wrong... but at peace).

The way it happened was kind of magical. Cloe was 14 years old. We lost Riley 4 years ago He was 13 years old. Tonight, Cloe waited for Jen to come home from work. Jen was sitting with Cloe, comforting her. Our German Shepherd was laying on our bed, with her head hanging over the side, wimpering a bit. Jen was telling Bailey (our GSD) it was ok. All of the sudden Bailey stopped wimpering and perked up and started staring at the wall as if something was there. Then she turned and started staring at our pillows on our bed. Jen thought it was odd but then thought to say to Cloe, that "It's ok Cloe, your brother is here, he came to get you."

Cloe's breathing slowed and less than a minute later, she was gone. At the same point she stopped breathing, Bailey got up and moved to the other side of the bed.

2 things about Riley... we always called him our wallflower because he had a habit of standing next to the wall and leaning his side up against it... His favorite spot in the world was on our pillows on our bed.

Anyone have... or knows someone who has... take off parts where they have upgraded thier suspension, for a 2nd gen?

My kid is going to be down here next weekend. He's looking to do a set of wheels and tires. But I'd like to suprise him with a mild lift if possible. Looking for Emu or Bilstein fronts and maybe an AAL.

I'd like to set him up for some 265s instead of him getting another set of 245s. Anyone who can think of something, let me know.
