Rego’d for shakedown this morning.

 

Well I got paid today an then ordered a suspension setup for the 4runner to match my rear OME coils. 15% off and free shipping so not going to complain about saving 130 bucks. Got 5100 front and rear shocks and OME 2881 coils for front, rear end I noticed sagging even more for some reason so yeah, sorta a must have purchase. Wife literally said I'm tired of the bouncing and clunking she wants a suspension before a 4k 70 inch tv!

That is my favorite first gen build on here.... It's a monster.

 

Curious to hear your opinions on what I will be doing...

Can't decide what width to make the main tube for my rear bumper. Modeling it roughly off boxrocket's design.

Don't know if I should make the main tube the same width as the tailgate like in boxrocket's design or make it 2-3" wider on each side so that it would support a swing out better. I plan on finishing up the main frame of this tomorrow and painting to rock for two weeks while I finish up finals then putting a double swing out on it- plan on using 2x 3/4" heim joints on each side for the swing out.

My bumper will be 4x2 instead of the 5x3 that boxrocket used but the top and inside of the bar will be in close to the same spot. I am not currently doing the side tubes becuase I have no way to bend them and am limited on time for now.
