Diesel swap near completion

I always liked the base Ranger 4 doors they had.

I know why American small trucks got larger, I don't get why the Hilux and Ranger did. Seems like most of the world didn't gain by it. Roads in Thailand or Brazil didn't get bigger.

I was wondering what diesel engine would fit best in my 94 grand Cherokee, and how easy is it to swap.

 

I think it's discussed pretty heavily on the Cherokee forums. As much as we talk about Tacomas probably.

 

visit the Cummins site... this is a very common swap, it isnt cheap.
