    It was a 5 minute bush wack up a gulley to the nearest forestry road. The dog handler police officer there finally convinced the right investigators out of the Regional office to come out. They drove up in a little econobox hatchback. We were laughing as the amount of drugs were not going to fit, and they had to call in another vehicle. In the meantime, transport canada is calling us to shut off the ELT, while we have a little Robinson helicopter that didn't file a flight plan buzzing overhead. Turned out to be a news camera outfit. The road is blocked off to turn back the occasional vehicles, who get considerable questions asked of them, as someone is going to miss this haul.

    Cold finally reached far enough west to get us in BC. Only at -10C this morning, so not bad, but no snow on the ground in the valley. Ski hills are open now though.
