Likewise, when is the next meetup? I would like to get out and do some winter off-road.

Well, as soon as the season is over.

Has anyone got a BLM xmas tree permit? I have one for the Fillmore office. Upon further inspection, I think below is the only area where I can get a Doug Fir, Spruce, type of tree?? The map that was given to me only has Juab county as the outline. I went to the blm website and they specifically say, "These permits are valid on BLM-managed public lands only. " Which leads me to the following area (red circle)?? Am I correct with this assumption?

I believe you are correct. Also according to the BLM website you should also be able to go into Millard county (Fillmore and surrounding places).

Do you have a pic of the map they gave you?

They way they normally operate is you get assigned an area based on which Ranger Station you purchase your tree permit from. I normally go up to the Heber Ranger Station and they give me a basic map showing a designated area out East of Heber City. Out there it’s easy, once you see the BLM sign you are good to go anywhere beyond it, unless of course there are the sporadic private property “No Trespassing” signs.

    I also found this:
    https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/fishlake/passes-permits/forestproducts/?cid=fsm9_019956

They give some recommendations for canyons to go explore

Haven't heard a word yet, gonna give my insurance company a call next week and see what the next step is. They said they'll "cover aftermarket parts" thank good so at least they aren't a total loss. Thanks for checking.

    PAC-12 South Champs! Go Utes!

I’m on my to Santa Clara. With Alabama losing today we should at least move into 5th place on the playoff rankings.

Damn, I meant to call my insurance (USAA) and see what my coverage on all the blingy bling is. It'd be a shame if something happened because all of it adds up to a second truck.

Yeah, would be a good idea. It'll be interesting to see what the final payout is, but I'm expecting it to sting a bit - thats for sure. Going to have to start really pondering the next move (vehicle-wise) this week... any suggestions? :bananadead:

Not a 3rd gen. Maybe a 4runner of some sort. Or a GX. 470s have a good aftermarket and can be had for not much more than a good 1st gen.

You’re killing me smalls. Not a 3rd Gen. the 3rd Gen is the Best Gen.

A 4Runner wouldn’t be bad, if you don’t need the bed.

Opening line is 6.5 for Utah. It’s a good match up. Oregon has a tremendous O line and we outstanding D line.

Our team is getting banged up. We need everyone healthy to pull this off. If we do it and Georgia loses in the SEC Championship, then we got a shot at the playoffs.

Oregon has a good team. Those dudes are FAST! I don't think they have the whole package like Utah does though.

Yeah, unfortunately, the Utes are gonna need some help getting in the playoffs. I would really enjoy seeing Georgia and/or Clemson (who have they played??) getting bumped.

    "best"

GX460 is basically a luxury 4runner with the fixings of an LC200 and a V8.

    Yes, best.

Not saying a GX460 would be a bad choice. Hey, it’s all Toyota. Can’t lose.
