    No. They have terrible reception on FM and XM. I have spent three years making antennas and even swapping the head. It is simply a terrible tuner. We got ripped off and that ultimately becomes what it is.

    I pretty much only listen to stuff through my phone, but I've never listened to satellite radio that didn't cut out at least a couple times in any car I've been in that has had it.

    My 2019 never cuts out. Well maybe in between high trees where the Sirius loses signal but I've never had any other issue. I will be replacing it however with an Android Auto unit.

    What’s your source? I have a 2017 OR and haven’t had any issues with FM or XM. Of course there are other variables.

    I just purchased a 2012 sport with the JBL HU and I have the same issue. When using the radio it fades in and out randomly. Works perfectly trough bluetooth though. I cant imagine that there is not a solution for this by now. The radio is basically useless unless you dont mind the fading...

    Solved it, it was a bad antenna.
