    Couldn’t stand it anymore.

In the shade and the wind come up it had to be Below 0°.
Was on top of the land instead of in a valley and it was just to much.

    So I’m done.
    Hey saw some deer
Almost drew on a 6 pointer.
    Got excited.
    Personal victory lol.

Maybe a blind with heater next year roflmao...

The southern zone really sucks for this very reason. It happens nearly every year. Gets old.

Yeah the cool thing about here is we have south Alabama deer and Michigan deer and they have separate ruts so if we miss the first one we have 3 more coming... But really puts the pressure on later in the season

    No details?! Congrats!

Last day for gun season here in Michigan. Hoping the .450 gets a shot at my target buck tonight, as long as he comes out 45min earlier!:fingerscrossed:

    Last day for rifle.
I do have expanded archery behind my house.
    We will see next week.
    Big storm coming in tomorrow.

So I have one more time out if it isn’t as cold at the last 2 times were.

It has to be fun also.

we have rule on the lease, No Drives.these farms are the only drives we do. drives are not my style, they still dont shoot little scrubs on them and only do it on last day of season. these are more quiet pushes. set a few up on stand with the wind right the others walk through that patch with wind of their scent blowing toward standers so walking and scent will move stuff toward standers.and we cant bait any.

This poor boy, he went this morning and took four naps he said with momma, she came home and I put him in the truck and we rode 150 miles to fetch some tractor parts and we got home she was going back hunting and he insisted on going with her. I can’t blame him, it’s raining, 46 degrees, and the blind has a tin roof on it. Hopefully she can wake him if she decides to pinch.
