    A friend of mine told me he quit using his grill for burgers and steaks. :eek: Any of you tried them in an air fryer?

    How do you like this fryer??
    Seems like it has a lot of different options to cook with,the rotisserie, basket and shelves
    The price is pretty decent too

    I saw someone did an air fryer steak. I just don’t see it being as good. I mean I guess if you’re switching from a gas grill since it doesn’t add really anything to the flavor for I will stick with the smoker reverse sear.

    So far I like it. I haven't used the rotisserie or rotating basket yet, but will soon. I almost used the rotisserie yesterday for a 3 lb boneless turkey breast, but I went with my smoker instead.
    I really like the glass door and inside light.
    I don't like how hot the counter top gets where the hot air comes out. 150f! That's at 400f for 10 minutes. It hasn't caused a problem tho, on Formica.

    We’ve done steaks before, but only when we are in a pinch for time. Go to is still the grill/smoker, then the broiler, finally the air fryer. I think the fryer has its strong points and steak (at least for us) is on the bottom of that list. Not saying you can’t get a great steam out of it, but a grilled steak will always be a grilled steak lol

    I've made burgers in my old smaller one but not in my new one... They were fresh ground beef and not frozen one.. but they were good and juicy
