    @cnstaco Avoid running on even easy trails without a front skid. One good hit to either side of the jacking point can stab the front diff into your engine block.

    Don't they all come with factory skids? I mean they're not super beefy, but should handle light trail duty just fine

    Yep. However, @cnstaco is running without one at all. Even the factory skid is way better than not having one.

    I don't even go on the highway without my front skid, having driven over tire carcasses and wood pallets.

    Yeah it's crazy they never made it here in the US but they made it for Canada. The only option was to go with the DCSB and I did not want the short bed. I can't understand why Toyota did that. :notsure:
