If he's that savvy with money, there is no way he would post pissing away 10k over something that has zero appreciation.

    Fun thread, though

Get a tundra.... If you are smart enough to apparently have earned & saved and apparently inherited this king of dough, I would not look for advice on the internet. However, I see you live in LA so never mind, you folks are simply different than 97% of the country. Enjoy your spending spree

The jealousy runs deep in this thread ....

sounds like a normal dude who made smart decisions inherited a modest sum of money and is continuing to make smart decisions.

Splashing 10k is fuck all, you could spend that on 2 weeks all inclusive in Mexico .... this way at least he gets to enjoy his “investment” for many many years.

    That's the problem

99 percent here are not qualified to answer the question. The 1 percent that has money to piss away are not going to tell him which suspension to purchase or accessory to purchase. We already know its wasted money.

Spend the money on suspension, you will regret it if you add bumpers and tents. If you have the money do right the first time.i have had to Change my set up 3 different times because of weight. Cost a fortune

See now I like you cause you're upfront about it. We are good then.

And someone earlier said to invest the 10k @ 30 years. With time value of money (TVM) you're looking at a 3% increase and a total of $24568.42 in 30 years, for a appreciation of $14,568.42. Inflation taking that over time at 3.5% means you'll have less. So I re-ran at 7% and that's a respectable $81,164.97 in 30 years. for a total of $71,164.97 over 30 years. Not bad. But still, not fun :(

Have you thought about gears first? Regearing has helped my 2018 Pro so much. It’s fun to drive now. I personally did gears 5.29 prior to adding any weight and MODS. I have my build coming along in sections. Next step is lift to fit my 285/75’s better. Really don’t need this because even rock crawling didn’t rub. Just had to figure out how not to hit or get hung up on my stock steps
