I'm a mechanic as well. We should head out to the range and I can show off my mechanisms.

    It's coming...
I've been testing mine, and also sent a few out in the field.
    The only change will be the bottom is actually "AUTO. So it will be;
    ON(up position)
    OFF(middle position)
    AUTO(bottom position)

The puddle icon lights up with the headlights and is a very close match to the stock Blue(ish) stock buttons.
Unfortunately the top and bottom text will not light up, but I am sure you would know if you left them on or off.

    INSTALLATION:

It's super easy and can be done at anytime(before or after main puddle install)

    Stay tuned!
    https://vimeo.com/376695972

    I'm down with that!

Very nicely done. Is it possible that the wire will be long enough to put switch in overhead console. If not, I can always add length to it. :spending:

When you say "the only change" does that mean final switches will say "AUTO" on the bottom?

When will the puddle pods be available for purchase? Switch or not this is by far (to me) meso’s most useful mod. Toyota should seriously consider adding this to their array of options as it would cost them next to nothing to add labor or material wise. Plus it’s so extremely practical when you vehicle is parked in complete dark. Safety is also a very valuable aspect of this mod and is the number one factor why of all his mods this one is hands down above and beyond the best.

@MESO, how about a module for a time delay off to add to the puddle lights? A longer duration than the factory one.

@MESO cant wait! Is there any way that us Tacoma World peeps can subscribe to an email list to be notified of the day it launches? Everything sells out on your site within a day of release!

side note- where did you get your “TRD - Start / Stop” button for push to start? So subtle but a cool mod.

    It’s my red replacement button(not a sticker) coming soon:D
You won’t have to purchase an entire start button assembly $$$. Just pop your stock start button out and pop this one in.

so i finally had a chance to install mine last week. everything went fine and works great - the bendy steel claw through the boot works great......

what really stands out now if the color of the lights. they are very bright and very white. the 3rd brake light one matches it but the head light and fogs are very yellow compared...

Time to replace those yellow head/fog lights! Might as well do all your interior lights too! :-D

Looking forward to that release (Start button) as well as your others.

Hey I don't know if you caught my last suggestion on the start button but there is a way to make the button light up different colors depending on the engine status. For example the ignition button could light up "WHITE" or "GREEN" etc. for start and once the engine starts the button could light up "RED" to kill the engine. My wife's 2020 RDX has this feature and its pretty cool. Anyway look forward to your rendition.
