I for sure want to make a glamis trip this season. After my first trip early this year my eyes were opened to what big whoops are. My backyard whoops are deep and sharp, but damn the size of glamis whoops was eye opening. Valving changes should make my next trip much more enjoyable.

Post up when you’re going. I am super busy this winter with finalizing wedding shit, but want to get the truck out when I can. Definitely hitting the snow tomorrow to test our new 37’s in the snow after barely making it home to our driveway today in the car.

Travelled back to over 20” snow drifts in the little car and made it within 2’ of our parking spot. Full send off the rev limiter until she wouldn’t plow any more.

Deal!!! Defiantly playing with the 4Runner traction control tomorrow and gonna get sideways in the truck if time allows but need to get decorations up as well. Truck fun might have to wait till the next storm in a week or two.

Don’t know what it was with this snow but it was tough to get though. Depth ranged from 12-16” and I know I’ve gotten through more in the past, just had a weird fluffiness to it this time. Looking forward to more storms this winter for sure.

Also pulled out some complete dumbasses up from phx to play in the snow. 5th gen 4Runner trd Pro snapped a front axle and was about 20’ down a little grade digging holes. 4th gen 4Runner bouncing off the rev limiter on the icy road thinking he was helping. Daisy chained up to the front of them, pulling at the correct angle, better ground and a slight tug and got em up back to the road.

The thing I’m most concerned about is the stock rack... I can’t wait until mine goes by by

So has anyone else purchased one of the LCA relocate kits? I'm tempted, just starting a new build, and I'm hesitant to hack up the wheel well of another truck to clear tires, as I never found a good and proper way to button up my previous Tacoma after tire clearancing.

One question I have, is how do you think this kit will cope with salt damage? I live in the Northeast. My instincts, based on carefully reading the whole thread, say the additional moving parts in this design may be susceptible to salt. Thoughts?

I'm amazed more manufacturers haven't created something similar, and I'm very curious to see others install this kit; I'm tempted to be a guinea pig myself.

There are two other trucks running the kit and about to start helping my good buddy install his.

As for moving parts there aren’t any more than stock. The new alignment cams come zinc coated and the pivot bolts are just grade 8 bolts that can be purchased anywhere.

I’m pretty sure JD Fab is offering a discount to all TW members as well

Yes I plan to do an extensive pic/write up for his build in this thread. He is also doing 35’s, Deavers and 12” free bleed Kings in the rear

Nice. Push that shock up as high as you can to get the lower mount clear of rocks.
