Here is the exact one I ended up getting that was a perfect fit. The other model they have would require some serious massaging to fit.

Those of you concerned about carbon monoxide poisoning. I feel like chopping your exhaust is no different than side exit exhausts on some exotic cars. And I don't hear any worries towards those.

I chopped mine and put a chrome tip on it. Also had a Magnaflow muffler installed. Cost about $400.00 or so at my local shop. I really dislike how the stock muffler just hangs down and out the side.

My head hurts from reading the nonsense in this thread. Must be the CO getting to me from my chopped exhaust...

Or you could go with exhaust stacks. . .

Call it a snorkel exhaust if you want. . .

That's what I did with mine, but with the MBRP system. Exits 6" further forward than factory, but doesn't hang down where it could get smashed while off road.

Update. Same exhaust dump exit location but now with a magnaflow 18” muffler. Also had an exhaust reroute behind the transfer case instead of under it.

I daily drive my 2017 50 miles a day (rolled over 40k miles in October) in stop and go Atlanta traffic past 100F, and have gone on lots of offroad trips. No issues here. I think the CO naysayers are blowing things out of proportion - the intake is way up front in the engine bay, not on the bottom of the truck, so you're not going to suck in exhaust and make CO. I haven't noticed any exhaust in the cab either - which is mainly CO2 thanks to the catalytic converter, no big concerns there.

Take off passenger side rear wheel and mark:

    Chop with angle grinder:

The exhaust chop was the easiest part of adding my HC rear and lift that weekend. I don't even think it took 10 minutes. I left enough length that it wouldn't melt a spare there, but ended up taking the spare out of there for more clearance later anyways.

It's useful to not have the exhaust there when you're dropping off rocks or going through mud. It would have hung up last weekend here if I had left it on, I bottomed out my hitch step and left mud on it. Before chopping it with the HC rear, the exhaust was about in line with the mud flap, hanging like 6" below the bumper:

Naysayer of CO or not. You literally cannot wheel gnarly trails with a tail pipe that goes beneath the bumper. It doesn’t work and it gets smashed. Simple as that.

Way back in the day when I had a 69 SS 396 Chevelle, my entire exhaust was a set of Hooker headers, and 2 Thrush glass packs that had a header mounting flange built onto them. That was it period, no exhaust or down pipes.

Mufflers outlet was probably between the front and rear seats.

Never killed me, but I'd never sit in it while idling for an hour either.

Damn that car sounded good, large lopping cam in a big block is bad ass.

Are you not following this thread at all?. Axle dumps are done because once you start flexing or WHEELING your truck, the dangling exhaust pipe becomes problematic. It has to be done for reasonable clearance. If you don’t need either of those things, leave your exhaust alone but don’t compare a functional trimming of exhaust to a freaking stack.

I get that but I’m also betting that a lot of people are doing it for aesthetics and sound. Hence the original post mentioning it’s look and no mention of off road needs. So ya comparing the two in that light makes sense.

thats silly but I could care less if someone does an axle dump for sound or aesthetics. It doesn’t really change the sound at all. And it’s nice and tucked away unlike bro stacks. To each his own. I did mine for 100% function

Functional dual stacks would sure look better than an axle dump. Just sayin'.
