Picked these up from forum member @RobP62 and wanted to get them a little more presentable. Center caps were purchased used on Amazon for $90, but they're in good shape and worth it.

    Here's how I received them:

First step was to vacuum the crud off the entire wheel inside and out.

Then I spayed them down with Adam's all purpose cleaner. It's pretty heavy duty. I did this three times until the rag was spotless.

I didn't have a wire wheel so I used some wire brushed I had laying around the garage to remove any hard spots or surface rust. Mostly in the holes..

Then, I used compressed air to blow them off and get that crevice from the rim/wheel. That part was a PITA.

Then, I blasted three coats of Krylon semi gloss on them just to freshen them up. Powercoating was mostly good on the wheels so I didn't want to grind them to bare metal. Also, they're steelies, I can touch them up on the go if needed.

I'll probably hit them w/ a coat of clear before I put new TPMS in them and install.

    Absolutely amazing Eric!

I hope I can reciprocate with the same amount of respect with the awning you traded me for the wheels, but I'm sure I won't let you down

    Those look great.

FWIW, Les Schwab will do a sandblast and powder coat in 4 or 5 basic colors for like $20 a wheel. Takes about a week out my way.

Not show quality results but pretty great, only thing that sucks is they’re not overly concerned with getting every piece of sand out of the crevices.

They're worth some cash. I paid $90 for these if I remember correctly. They were hard to find in good condition.

Nice. I really dig em, I had my OEM caps media blasted and powder coated in a satin black. Kinda lost track of em.
