I don't think that is an option with the manual hub axle tube, right?

IIRC it's a solid axle shaft and has a M end that goes into the diff and the female end that the CV goes into

Giving FB Marketplace a try for selling the Ram. Still have a good set of options showing on CL for V8 4Runners. Couple new ones even showed up.

My original calculation was wrong for when we would surpass the other thread. Y’all talk too much. I was off by almost a year.

Have you looked at GX470's? I was looking at V8 T4R's and the GX's kept coming in with more options and cheaper prices. I am so glad I went with the GX...

I have, all the GX470s I have seen, at least on CL, have been more expensive than the T4Rs. Like double the price. Also much less of a selection.

What's your budget and what're you looking for? I picked up my sport model (pretty rare) with every option for $15k. All the T4R's that were comparable in my area were asking $20k+.

I'm looking at $8k max with maybe a little wiggle room higher if I feel the vehicle is worth it. I've got 4 or 5 V8 T4Rs that are in the ballpark and within a couple hours drive of me.

Gotcha. Yeah, it'll be hard or impossible to find a GX for that. I did find a couple in the $10k range, but they were a little rough.

i have been looking at late 90s T4Rs and am baffled by their collapse in nada value compared to my truck

Yup, used T4Rs are cheaper than Tacos, specifically for 3rd and 4th gen T4Rs compared to the 1st/2nd gen Tacos.

i compared the MSRP on T4Rs which were about $5k more than my truck at the time, and they have depreciated by over $20k now for a really nice one too, according to that table

Pull the tube. You should be able to punch it out with that removed.

89-95 T4Rs are the garbage years, the 3.0L engine sucked, the hydro trans and hydro tcase ate power, the front IFS flexed like a steel I beam and the body didn't have a fun removable top....

And I'm still going to buy one for a winter beater haha
