tire size with 5100's & AAL?

i plan on putting billy 5100's and a AAL on. i plan on setting the front billies at the 2.5 setting. i want suggestions on tire size? i was thinking 32x11.5 but was wondering about 33's? i dont mind a little trimming if needed. would appreciate if you could show pics of any trucks running this similar setup to. thanks

I have about 2" of lift and have 255/85/16's which are about 33.3x10.5. I have some rubbing at full lock on the frame and in the inner fender at full compression (which is not easy to do). You will have to do some trimming/pinch weld pounding to fit 33's but not much at all.

I have 32x11.5 with a 2.5 lift they rubbed and ate the inner fender.

 

I have the 5100's set at 2.5 and a 2" AAL. I am running 32x11.50x15 mud tires. I had to trim and do the pinch weld mod.

 

I have 5100's with Eibach springs with about 3" of lift and 5150's with an AAL in the back and I'm going with 33"/12.5"x15" in a month or so. I just did a test fit with my buddy's 33"/12.5x18" Toyo open country's and the fit was nice I had very little rubbing at full lock and I'm sure I will have less or even none with my rims because I will have a more aggressive back spacing.

 

It really just comes down to what tires (not all tires, even in the same size, are the same width and height), and what wheels (different wheels have different backspacing and widths).

Easiest thing to do is to go visit a tire store and tell them what you want to do and see if they'll try a few different things with you to see if it'll work. Doesn't hurt to give the worker a bit of a tip so they dont feel like they're wasting their time.
