Looking at lifting 2018 sport 4 door Tacoma 4wd. I want a 2” lift up front and about 1.25-1.5” lift to the rear. I plan on adding a fiberglass camper top which I hope the added weight will level the truck with the above size lift. (I know 2/1 would be level but figure I have to go alittle higher on the rear for the camper)....

I tow a boat about 4500 lbs. I don’t want a coil spacer lift. I prefer changing the coils completely and as for the back a block or aal is fine with me.

    Couple of questions -
    1. What would be a lift option that won’t decrease my towing capacity ?
    2. What/ who makes a 2” coil spring for 4 door 4wd and which part is it?

I have had ome springs and aal in my last truck no complainants .... not sure about the parts now with these newer Tacoma’s.
    Thanks

Same parts for the 3rd gen as your last tacoma. I would also suggest a set of airbags for the towing.

My last taco was aces cab and I think I had ome 884? Can’t recall the number ... I know with double cabs there was a different spring that was stiffer to compensate for the double cab weight...

    ok thanks
I know with ome springs the spring varies on the lift depending on what model truck and any extra weight it’s carrying ...

I am interested in this thread since I may be replacing my 06 OR Acc cab with a 2020 OR access cab, I tow a Casita 17 ft weighs 3100 loaded, 450 lbs tongue wt. Also a Rhino/trailer around 2,000 lbs. I was thinking of Dakar HD rear springs, with either quicklift Rancho shocks the RS9000's. Or perhaps the TRD Pro 2.5" Fox shocks. I will be running a Leer 180 shell too. Perhaps would also need sumo or other brand bump stops for rear sag when towing.
