Northern Virginia Roll Call

And good morning everyone,, traffic was extra shitty last night, the blizzard that's supposed to drop 12" of snow & ice on most of new england made everyone leave Sat instead of Sunday like usual, didn't roll across the Potomac until 0200

 

I will say that this was the best NY Strip I have had in years.....

 

Maybe we have different ideas about what constitutes rock crawling.

 

probably...I do not find getting thru rough terrain a lot of fun it is just necessary to find out what is on the other side. I enjoy exploring areas, looking for abandoned sites, finding out what happened and when. I do not what the terrain to stop me so I need enough experience to know when to try and when to go back. I also like doing it alone.

I feel ya buddy. I was supposed to be home at 3. I have over an hour left still....

 

Sweet! Did all the storm damage repair itself ? Last I heard the island was split in 3.

 

All good to go! The full length of the island is open. Some areas aren't as deep as they used to be and the amount of area above high tide is def reduced, but overall good to go!

 

I still haven't been on the island. It's on the bucket list for sure. So

 

I feel like my co workers are gonna miss me

Nice. This weekend I used my Pellet Grill/Smoker to smoke a turkey and a beef brisket flat. Both turned out excellent. Although I almost burned through 20 poubds of pellets. Enjoy!
