Didnt find a thread, so i wanted to make one. I think it should be all the websites that have had shady dealings that you would recommend everyone else stay away from...

I just purchased an entire JL Audio setup for my Taco from DealerCostCarAudio.com, before looking at there reviews, they charged my card immediatly now its been over a week and they just say it should ship soon. This is what most of the reviews say about them.

I just want this to help others not have to deal with needless headaches.

Demello offroad, not saying dont buy from them.. but my experience is horrible. I ordered a shift knob on august 3rd, they charged my card the same day. I have yet to get it and no contact from them. I have contacted members here that work there and thats the only way i can get ahold of them. 70 dollars isnt chump change to just be out of with no merchandise. i want my money back because of the 4-5 times i have tried contacting them leaving calls and emails and no replys. Im pretty pissed off not gonna lie

Sorry for the problems Caleb. I'm not in sales and have no idea what happened. It's a Sunday morning as I write this so obviously Jason or Kasey can't get on this till Monday. If I were in your shoes I wouldn't ask for anything less than a refund myself.

Again, sorry for all of this. Don't let it form your entire opinion of us here. I've worked here for over 3 years now and wouldn't want to work anywhere else at this point. Mistakes happen and I have no control over what happens behind the counter but I think our reputation speaks for itself as far as customer service and quality of product overall. No business is zero defect.

Sorry that you still haven't received the shift knob, I called Casey and said it went out a while ago. I know at first IVD was out of stock on these. If we had known sooner you still haven't gotten them we would have shipped them again. I have no pm's and no emails from you but I will find your invoice Monday morning and take care of this either way..

Good on you for choice of expression. All companies will have their share of issues, no one is perfect. It's the companies that continue to have issues who bring their reputation down are the ones who will loose business. Sharing an experience is perfectly fine & welcome but many people on the net who have had one bad experience will try to blow things out of proportion out of anger.

I recently just bought a bed bar from Demello. They answered my questions through email very quickly & by two people the same day, one of which was Jason. My part was made & delivered well within the time frame they gave me. Didn't charge my card until the bar was about ready & also got shipping notification. The bar was very nicely packaged & on top of that, I couldn't have asked for a better fit & finish. I've heard nothing but good from them & is why I choose to buy from them.

It nice when the owner spends time to answer emails personally & as well as addressing issues on forums. Don't get much of that these days.

Were still a small company, which means I can answer e-mails and phone calls. But it also means some stuff falls through the cracks. I believe Casey is on the phone right now with this gentleman to resolve his issue.
