    I think ours is poor due to satellite line of sight based on how far north we are. Even the direct TV trajectories are low on the horizon from us; based on my observation of how my neighbor's dishes are pointed.

    I kinda wonder what reception would be like with a camper on the truck? The shark fin is near the front so it may not interfere with the signal. But it might. The few times I had XM in Runner (fin was on the back) the RTT would block the signal if I was driving southbound.

    Both are good points. I didn't think about being so far north... and reception with the camper would still be hindered by your relation with where the satellites are so you may have to make 3 lefts instead of a right if you're jamming to your favorite tunes.
