Don't know if this matter since I don't know if data is being passed, but if there is data being passed, make sure that the Cat5e cable is at least 3' long. If not, I can throw one together for you if you need it. I have the crimper's for it.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

I don’t but for reference, I traded in my 2014 TRORDC 4x4 6spd with 26000miles at Nalley (negotiated a decent trade in price) and saw it in the lot s few days later marked up $3900. Bet they make 4500-5000 on a typical 30000 used truck

I tried to buy my Ford from Nalley Ford, it was pretty bad. I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted, and their sales team just wouldn’t listen. They seemed very uneducated on the trucks themselves, mainly focused on “what do you want your monthly payment to be?” without even having shown me the truck I wanted.

The only other worse dealer I’d dealt with was Rick Hendrick. Staff there was pretty prejudiced against me.

I ended up buying from a Ford dealership out in Rome. It seems the further you get from ATL the more likely they want your business. After sales communication for a couple hiccups was not the best, but the price was really good and the sale itself was very quick.

Of course, YMMV at any of these places.

Anyone here have the GB40 for awhile? I have been looking at it for awhile but the reviews of the lithium battery expanding and failing have me concerned. 4.2 stars is not bad but some reviews are ugly haha.

I’ve had mine since this time last year. So no real long term experience, but no complaints. I’ve charged it twice; once when I got it and once again 2 months or so ago.

It’s been flawless for me. Never needed it personally, just helping coworkers. I’ve used it 3 or 4 times and only charged it recently since I had it out from use.

Yea it’s a no brainer to me, buy.

Now I’ll have one in each vehicle. Gave my dad one for Christmas last year, brother in-law will get one this year.

I bought everyone in my family at least one if not two last year. I think a total of 7 or so floating between the 5 of us. Every one has had to use it at LEAST once and they performed flawlessly. I have personally used mine probably 20-30 times if not more, one weekend using it 3-4 times without recharging it and it still had charge left. My fam has a mix of the gb20 and gb40, i have two of the gb40's and have had no issue starting v8's as well (my old silveraydo and my moms tundy). Just my personal experience with them!

The one pic of me all up on my slider, i went up and turned around bc I wasnt going to have my friend in the t4r risking body damage. Plowed my rear HC into the ground trying to get the right angle to get up it.

For the most part we stayed on green trails, my friend did really good for her first time wheeling in the t4r.

I split off later and went by myself (not a smart idea) and hit a trail and ended up having to winch my truck up and over a 3-4ft rock ledge, that was absolutely an interesting time. Winch setup and recovery gear worked flipping flawlessly, it was literally pulling my truck on my sliders/skids up this damn rock haha... hard to see from the pics but it was gnarly. Literally got to use everything i have built my truck with this trip though, from the bumpers/skids, to the lights, to the leather seat covers(got mud all over them). Had a blast

Yeah dealers mostly suck and ignore the fact that you know what you want and what you want to spend and instead waste time trying to sell you some other junk that they have. "I know you said you came in looking for a 2002-2006 z06, but we have this 97 cavalier SPORT that we recently took in on trade. One owner, well taken care of, they are both 2wd"
