Open rear as of now... When I regear to 4.88 I'm planning on putting in front and rear ARB locker which should be within the next couple months

Ill be headed to moab next week glad to hear that its looking good out there. Do you get a lot of wind noise off your light bar on your prinsu?

You're gonna have a blast! Was a bit cold camping during the nights but not bad. Had a lot of rain one day so that's when we hit White Rim Road since it's fairly easy. As for the Prinsu, not a lot of wind noise! The trim that you can buy extra definitely helps a lot. Or maybe I've gotten use to the wind noise from the lift, bigger tires, etc etc. Regardless, it's not loud at all.

You know my favorite part about posting something on this forum is someone with some stupid comment. The post says “What have you done to your 2nd Gen”. It doesn’t say “Please respond as to why I shouldn’t have done something”. Another thing there are other users just getting into the Tacoma lifestyle and asking questions only to have someone post the idiotic comments like “oh great, someone asking the same question thats already been asked 2 million times”. Just either answer the question for the new user or just don't respond. We are here to help and grow the Tacoma lifestyle not make someone feel like a moron.

Nice shots, looks beautiful. Dumb question, is that 2WD? Just see sport so just assuming.

Nope, it’s 4WD! As far as I’m aware, all TRD packages are 4x4. Prerunners are the 2WD models.

Yeah I aired down to I think 12-15psi. I took it slow, mostly in 4Lo and the lowest gearing down the slick rock and up the steep climbs. Definitely need a good spotter who knows what they’re doing for Hells Gate. Slick rock has a ton of traction surprisingly when dry. Had no issues with traction. The entire trail did take a fair bit, maybe 5 hours because of how cautious we were being trying not to flip the truck or get extreme body damage. Sliders and armor I would say are a must for ease of mind

Ah yeah that’s why. I have a TRD Sport base model which is 4WD. Versus you have the TRD Sport Prerunner which is 2WD. One of my friends use to have a TRD Off road Prerunner which was 2WD as well before he traded it in for a 4Runner Trail Edition

Here's a little better pic of my 08 base. Nothing special, but I love it so far. Just got it a couple weeks ago. I did put on the 235/75R15 tires last week.

Thanks, this helps. I’m a newbie here myself. I’ve used the stickies, searches, or old topics to avoid this exact problem! I’ve seen it too many times on other forums, non Tacoma related. But, you guys here are very helpful and supportive.
