    Hi Everyone!!

    Just wanted to get people's opinion on the TRD skid plate. I am thinking of getting one for my 2018 TRD Sport. . .I don't do heavy rock crawling in it or anything like that, but would like some extra protection for when I am out in the desert. I do like the look of it. . .

    If you are buying Online I highly suggest you ask the seller to remove the hardware and pack it separately or tape it in place securely.

    This may be a dumb question but, when installing the trd skidplate, do you need to remove the 2 black stock skidplates or does it mount overtop of them?

    To install it properly, you need to remove the black skid plates, crumple them up with your hands and throw them in the trash.

    Some dealers are offering extra discount on top of the 20% as well. I found a dealer near me selling at a 28% total discount ($288 + Tax).
