That low intercooler location is going to cut a huge piece of your market out. I would bet a large number of those who want this are also the people who already use that space for bumper and/or winch.

    Me included.

Jesus fuck I see why the man never posts pictures/updates here, you all jump down his throat. If you think Mat is unaware of IC placement with other possible mods, you're actually an idiot. Let him figure it out and we'll go from there.

    /end rant

If this intercooler is in the way then there must be quite a few other things in the way on these trucks from factory, like the big transmission cooler, the bracing for the hood latch, etc.

Regardless, the intercooler can be moved pretty easily.

The only thing is the hood latch support. You can't close the hood without it, as the metal is flimsy and bends. But I have a billet piece made for that.

I’m less concerned about collisions from aftermarket things. I’m more concerned about airflow restrictions caused by aftermarket things

I'm guessing they accept your apology.

So do you rescind your claim that a simple air plumbing (re)route is going to somehow limit OVTune's FI Tacoma sales?

Water to air is the easiest route, but also adds complexity, weight, more setup more hoses etc etc etc. Trying to have your cake an a diet all in one isn't easy

Make them fit in here! I think the winch makes this a no go unless Mat can get more creative! Ho would SC work on trucks with aftermarket bumper and winch?

Let’s keep the focus on getting the kits out first. Then can look at accommodating others with unique situations after....

Should be a simple job for a competent fabricator to reweld the inlet and outlet and readjust the location of the intercooler.

    Modified trucks need modified parts...
