Yeah, that stinks. Doesn't look like the previous owner had the measure twice cut once mentality nor did they take the precautions to protect the paint with a bushing or spacer.

Wait until you have to keep tightening down the screws in the a-pillar multiple times per year because they vibrate loose. If you’re going to go through the trouble of applying sealant on the inside of the pillar, use a bolt and nyloc nut. Also, I’ve never had water intrusion issues after a couple, or few, years...but I do understand wanting to seal it.

I drilled my A-pillar. Used 3M tape between snorkel bracket and A-pillar, and sealed it. Instead of screws I used rivets. It holds very well.

Noticed a considerable lean to the drivers side looking at the ass end of my truck. Measured and found about 1" difference. Layed the cardboard down on the driveway and noticed the Dakar HD pack I've had for a few years looks pretty flat.

Maybe install airbags in the short term while I save up for a suspension upgrade all around??

@JimboAnz you consistently ran with a lot of weight in the back. Ever run in to this?

Rear full long travel including upper and lower rear control arms. 37s Mickey Thompson Baja boss MT,
Just like any leaf pack they wear out especially when you wheel with them and have weight on them . I would call Dakar and see if or any warranty is on them . Hell they might be able to give you a discount towards another pack

My first aftermarket leafs were allpoo expo, 3rd owner of that set. they were OK, but would not hold the weight. Ended up with the blackout Joe HD pack, they were nice, held the weight no problem but I did not run them long enough to get a good long term review, ended up parting ways with truck.........

I think that was the expo pack I got from Tim. Lifted my little truck 5"+ and were insanely stiff :bananadead:

    For you jerky aficionados.
I'm a huge jerky fan and I ran across Jeff's Jerky while visiting my folks this last week.

I Highly suggest checking out www.jeffsjerkyohio.com

The mild hickory is freaking amazing!!!
Absolutely, hands down, the best jerky I have ever tried. It's better that my Pops venison jerky.

This batch has the stringy, grisly, greasy, fat taste which I love. Keeps you from eating an entire bag like candy because you have to chew on it for a while.

@SC2SC and anyone else with the Icon UCAs with deltajoints. Hopefully I can get my front suspension before Moab next summer.

Icon Delta joint update both have play DS quite a bit. ~30k miles on them. I wasn't the easiest on them and this is a little better or about what's expected out of a Uniball. I've got to look into the warranty now and see. I think it's a very poor design with the no boot and no wipers to keep grit and grime out only 2 helical grooves for the grease to move the grime out. This is what I think caused the wear to allow for the play.
