Yes, that’s another thing I’d like to get into. Vehicle specific wiring harnesses. I’ll have to get into it a bit first before I start taking business.

With this investment I’m hoping to buy some new equipment that would expedite wiring manufacturing. I’m talking automated wire cutters and crimpers, because that’s what takes a majority of the time. I almost got carpal tunnel from crimping harnesses for almost 24 hours straight.

Looking at a new air compressor too.

I thought about this as well (the Bussmann RTMRs). Too much customization needed though. Sure you could build a generic one but the buyer is still going to need to figure out the rest and most wont want to do it. Not too mention the ones that do not have any experience or concept of wiring. They want a completed product that they can just plug in.

We only have one person on TW which I think is building out RTMRs. Not sure how much he offers in the way of customization.

As for instructions - tacozord's write up here is one of the best (with some modification to his process). For a visual, as you go reference - this guy has a good vid. I'd skip on his eaton fuse holder box (from the batt to the RTMR and other boxes) and opt for breakers instead.

I ordered these just to see how they hold up... really impressed with quality. Put a few in the tackle boxes and camp gear. There are similar products on Amazon and different sizes. @Kwikvette - might want to check them out as well.

Becoming a private side operation/contractor work in any electrical field is stupid lucrative. The end goal of pretty much any PLC tech is to do private contracting. Anybody Ive met that does it is swimming in money haha.

@CS_AR how many of the approximately 409 residents of Dallas Wisconsin do you suppose have the Tacoma?

Oiled Cone filters in general are really bad, they gunk up your MAF. The dry ones like AFE are good.

I like to let the engine run without a filter to make sure the valves get some cleaning action from incoming sand
