I see that. For some reason Google Maps has it listed as Cleghorn.

No, this was 2N49, sugarpine mountain trail, which started in san bernardino and runs to the 138 (it ends up on a road that is called cleghorn road, but its a different road to the actual cleghorn trail. kinda confusing) . It dumps you out close to where the Cleghorn trail finishes on the 138.

edit: didnt see darthpow's reply lol

Oh that's weird. Cleghorn I think meets up with the 138, maybe right around where Sugarpine spits you out, maybe that's why.

Yea, it was getting a little deep near the top. Also, I ended up going skiing in Big Bear yesterday, and there was about 1-2 feet of snow on the ground, which is a lot for this early in the season.

Good to hear...I remember maybe just 3 weeks ago they were saying on the news that weather analysts were predicating a very dry and warmer winter this year, I was really bummed to hear that. Glad to see they were likely full of crap like usual lol.

I wish it would stop raining on the days I was planning on taking the family to Disneyland.
First we were going to go on the Nov 20th but it rained and was dry the next day.
Then we rescheduled for December 4th (this Wednesday) and its the day its going to be pouring.

of course man, I'm not sure yet what kind of trails I'll be able to do ...promised my wife I'd take her up to see the snow and this weekend is probably the only free one we have before xmas, so if she comes along I'll have to stick to the fire roads. 8 months pregnant and wheeling probably wouldn't go over very well lol. But would still be fun to do Coxey Road on up and Green Valley/Holcomb in the snow. Just nothing technical if she's along, have to see how she feels about coming later on this week. I'll have a better idea in a few days.

yeah I was pissed it was raining on Saturday, the one day I've planned on camping with my brother, dad and nephew for months now and it pours rain and the trails are all closed lol. That was a rare occasion where I wanted it to stop.

Thanks man. I keep the dashcam on all the time anyways so its easy to pull the videos. It took a whole 24 hours to upload them to google photos though. It's an APEMAN c450 Series A.
Not too bad for 50 bucks.

No, had the little ones and two other families in tow. Kids did some sledding, I ate and drank too much and then headed home, haha. The mountain has a ton of snow so I imagine its fun as hell right now to ski/board.

I was up there skiing yesterday. The snow was a bit heavy/wet, but not bad on the runs. The mountain has good coverage, but I don't think the base is very deep just yet, though it is probably deeper than usually at this point in the season.

I left Pasadena at 6 am yesterday, and went up the 38, took about 2 hours, no crazy traffic. Getting down the 18 took about 2 hours also, but we had a small hang up at the dam, not sure what was going on, I think a car had to be moved. We were sitting at the Castle Rock Trailhead area for about 10 min, but once we got going, it was pretty smooth sailing the rest of the way down.

The lift lines were surprisingly short. Google Maps showed the NB 18 as open, though it wasn't, so i'm wondering if a lot of people followed their GPS up the 18 only to get stopped and turned around.
