did you go with an alternative?

I ran something like this but it was the one that fit in the OTRATTW style switch spots til it broke one day

Since you have a manual trans you don't have a trans temp reading anyway, only the autos have that feature. We don't need one anyhow since manuals don't tend to overheat like autos easily can.

I use a $20 OBDII dongle and the Torque app as well, works great. Can drain your phone battery pretty quick if it's older though, just keep it plugged in.

I use mine to monitor fuel trims, coolant temp, intake temp, battery voltage, ignition timing and scan for codes all on one screen.

yep, ended up going with (I had room on my panel for two separate solutions) -

    https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QZZP2PT

    and this -

    https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CZ2ZXKM/

(the readout is really nice on this - none of that cheap super bright eye blinding LED crap)

EDIT: Speaking of OTRATTW, they have it much cheaper -

For a switch mount, they have (without the voltmeter):

Are you able to use the Torque app to monitor oil pressure on your Taco? That's one reading it seems I can't get on mine, figured it just wasn't available on our trucks.

It is not available on our trucks. The "sender" for the dash light is just a on/off switch that triggers when the pressure is too low

yeah the red oil lantern of death, I wish I could monitor it without relying on seeing a dash light that pretty much means 'you're fucked' lol.

You can add in a tee where the factory one is and add a sending unit for your own standalone gauge

Might do that one of these days, with the boost and AFR gauge though I don't really want yet another gauge on my dash lol. Would probably put it above the steering wheel or something.

I'll probably get a combo boost/afr gauge one of these days to consolidate those 2, the old TRD boost one periodically goes on the fritz...think the stepper motor in it is going out.

as u can tell this is my first manual, pardon the ignorance haha. So in reality, I may be skeptical running the 5 lug in 3rd because I'm at nearly 4k rpms when in a climb; but that's just my auto transmission mentality? obv I dump a gear after the climb, but ya. And okay looks like you guys just directed me the right direction! thank you so much! saved me half the cost I appreciated it!

Boost is on the A pillar, AFR is right next to it on the dash. But the A pillar one sticks out and covers the corner of the dash anyhow

They do make an A pillar gauge pod that will hold 2 gauges, but you have to remove your grab handle to put it on. I can't live without the grab handle, I use that way too much when wheeling. I would probably reach for the gauge pods and rip them off by accident
