Here's a little better pic of my 08 base. Nothing special, but I love it so far. Just got it a couple weeks ago. I did put on the 235/75R15 tires last week.

Thanks, this helps. I’m a newbie here myself. I’ve used the stickies, searches, or old topics to avoid this exact problem! I’ve seen it too many times on other forums, non Tacoma related. But, you guys here are very helpful and supportive.

When petulant children arrive to what is effectively the largest collection of Toyota Tacoma knowledge online that is free to access and then throw a fit because they aren’t interested in actually using it and just complain they help no one and waste everyone’s time. Being new to a specialized interest doesn’t mean one should behave as if they are new to common sense.

I welcome every new member to get involved with the community and share their experiences and yes, search for the answers before dragging everyone participating in a thread through their impatient rants and ridiculously threadbare questions that have been asked and answered countless times.

Thanks for being here, and thanks for participating. We aren’t all Rhodes scholars but we do try to help those that are bright enough to simply click the search button before melting down because the answer didn’t exist on the landing page.

You’ll find that once you sift through the information we aren’t that much of disagreeable mob to endure.

No clue. I don't remember hitting anything. I remember my pressure light coming on right before I pulled into work, but I assumed it was because the temperature had dropped. A buddy saw my truck leaning to the side and let me know on my way to lunch.

I would disconnect my battery and leave the lights on. Sometimes resetting the computer fixes these little issues.

Then again it could be a bigger issue.

I was just about to ask the same thing! lol Only been to moab once (in a rental) so I didnt hit any trails. Really want to hit White rim, how long did that one take?

Are there bypasses for Hells revenge trail? Or is it one of those one way in one way out kinda trails. I have sliders and bumpers, but I dont really want to be mashing on shit if I dont have too....

White Rim road takes a long time. Nearly a full day since it is nearly 100 miles long. Can’t go too fast on it either because of the views and terrain- was averaging 10-20mph.
Hell’s Revenge you can bypass Hell’s Gate which is the extremely difficult part. I believe you just take the alternate route, but regardless, there’s still some sections that I hit my rear bumper, sliders, and skids on. It wasn’t too bad however, if you chose the correct routes.

As much as I am on here I can almost never find anything on the search function. I have started just googling topics and it will direct me to TW threads.
