    Thanks Kevin! :hattip: :fistbump:

We wanted the 20' in Army Green but they wouldn't budge on the price a penny. The 19' is great though, and is costing me $4.00 less a month than the 17' Sport. With the gap insurance and a 10/100 warr! Now, after seeing the Army Green up close in person we like the Voodoo better.

Jerry! It was so cool finally meeting you! :hattip: I wanted to be sure though before I posted this that I wasn't just talking out my ass.

The is how the Story Goes.........

Being anal and somewhat OCD, I keep most of all my PM's but especially the ones that are unresolved. At my age relying on my memory is just not what it use to be. I even keep the ones that have might be inactive for 2 years and 5 months o_O. I'm sure some of you do the same thing. It's a good thing too because on June 26th, 2017 my first ever PM was from you! :D

I wanted to mod the shit outta that Sport right away and needed the money to do it. I thought, hey, sell some Harley stuff. Well, you PM'd me asking me what I had. Sorta.

"got any pics (phone#) if easier
    Thanks Jerry"

Well, I was so green then, and I had only been a member 22 days at that point. I mean this is certainly not my first forum but it was my first Tacoma. At that time I thought, wow, what a great guy to reach out right away like this. If I had I known better then how much fun everyone likes to have on here I think my response might have gotten me banned.

So we posted back and forth just a couple times and this is the last post in that PM from me to you.

"Nothing for a Night Train. Night Rod exhaust. I definitely have some helmets left. Jackets would be either a 2XL or 3XL."

I think this is a testament to the caliber of the people on here. How even though it took 2.5 years to finally meet it was as if this conversation happened yesterday. When we introduced ourselves to each other on Saturday I immediately said Oh Yeah!!!! Loosnut! You're the guy that..........

And it might be a corny story to some but not to me. As you get older you start to think more about your mortality and times like this just wash those thoughts away!!!

I have strong feelings for David @fatfurious2 too. A lot of you all know him much better than me. You have wheeled with him, broke bread with him, sat around fires and talked for hours making smores I bet. I can't say I have done any of those things. Yet.

But what I can say is back then when I joined I was just a lost waif stumbling in the dark caught up in all that evil 3rd gen hoopla. I didn't know any better and thought there were boundaries I might cross so I stayed in my lanes. Such a newb!

Well David sees me out there, wondering aimlessly about and could tell I was a super cool dude. He saw that like clay, I was someone someone that could be molded into a better forum member. I don't know, maybe a memory of when he was in the same boat flashed in his head. But with kind and gentle hands he told me I should come over the Maryland Thread with him and his buds. And 2.5 years and 24.5k posts later the rest is history! Now I have a Great White patch that will reside on the new trucks headliner like it did on the old truck to remind me of what that meant to me back then. What it still means today.

    Thank you David!

Meh, I typically try to piss off at least one or two people a day. I swear it keeps me young at heart.
F em' if they can't take a joke.

I bet we've been at the same motorcycle meets in the past. We rode for almost 35 years. It was really great meeting you too.
