OK -- got through. Confirmed, no more XB Fogs, no substitutions. You can get free retro rubber, lamin-x, or etching (not applicable).

If they made the 10% or 15% coupon code valid, I'd do it still. Otherwise, a likely pass!

 

so i ordered mine on black friday, but mistakenly didn’t realize i coulda gotten the amber fogs for free, so i reached out to them basically asking if they could just toss em in with my headlights. they replied saturday saying they in fact could not do that, but that they could simply cancel the order, and i could re-order the headlights with the fogs; so i did just that this morning, however by then the fogs were outta stock. so i reordered my exact original order of just the headlights. guess i’m saying i wouldn’t wait around to hear from them about when/if the fogs will be back, while the headlights are only on sale til midnite. simply put we missed the full extent of the deal. but the best part of the deal ($925) is still available til midnite tonight.

You replied to my original post and stated what I already knew. I did not however read the litany of post that came after that. Once I did I deleted my comment as it was not necessary. I completely get it but your initial response to my question was pointless. I already knew fogs were out of stock.

Hey members. I placed my order on Saturday evening. A little while later, I got an email about the fog lights being out of stocked and back order since July 2019, which is a few months back. That does not make any sense to me. I never saw the fine print "while supplies last" when I placed the order. Also, on the ad that they currently have on their website for the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale, it states that buying the headlight will include a free set of fog lights. No where does it states "while supplies last". I know because I looked at that page at least 20 times a day since Thanksgiving and debated on whether or not to buy it or not. It wasn't advertised as that. It was advertised to where as long as you make the purchase for the headlight, you'll get the fog light. It is only today that the item page show "while supplies last". I am very confuse now. I am no way bashing on anybody here and am no way bashing on TRS. Hopefully we all get a clear clarification soon.

Kinda my point... I have been saying “*while supplies last” in jest because that was not mentioned until after they sold out. Even the way it’s phrased on the site makes it sound like hindsight.

Kinda sucks and probably could have been handled better but what do you do?

EDIT: or maybe you were one of the first to order after they’d run out and the automatic backorder status is still set to the last time they were on backorder (looks like July). Wonder if your order may be amended to drop them since they’re out and they said they don’t know when they’ll be back...
