Very nice! So few taco people in the city. Check out angelos pizza I’f you haven’t. It’s not really the Italian market anymore as you can see. Really good Mexican and pho tho.

Haha I'm not there anymore, just moved to TX last month.

I was there about 2 years, went to Angelos right when it opened. I lived on Hall Street, Di Brunos was right at the end of my block!
And yea, tons of great mexican food.

sunroof shy of a full conversion. Seats lights mirrors lock actuators, even did the optional vip alarm w glass break sensor and I have locker button ready for when that day comes. I have the window doors and mirror switches also I’m just not sure I want power windows unless I can figure out a manual crank that is redundant so I’m going to rig up a custom panel for the OEM switches. Repainting the truck in the future so I’ll get the sr5 stripes because creative freedom.

    sounds like a good project!

the 96 stripes are different than the 97 i think
might be the same as the 95.5 are but I have not yet seen a '96 SR5 model on TW yet that i know of
i sorta like the lightning bolt whatever pattern a bit better

the top one is what i have but I still have not found out if that is also the '96 style from any data i have seen on TW :notsure:
@Running Man might have an answer and he might not
he has told me before that the top one is specific to '97 only

do you know if the carpet material on the sr5 lower door cards is the same as the floor carpet? I was going to mod the lower trim to match but I want to make it factory looking

did you have to get new mirrors from parts dept or refurbished some salvage yard ones?
i would like to refurbish mine somehow since i have a lot of gravel chips in the plastic and chrome from at least 100k highway miles

is there a story with the change of wheels?
maybe i missed that earlier in this thread...

Ive bought quite a few sets. This being number 3 of 4. Actually swapping these out again for that reason. Salvaged these but found a nice set off the limited 98-2000 trim that have better finish.

as for wheels... 13wl clearance. I like them though, came with tires and paid less than I would for one tire. Probably not a forever wheel but I dig that 80s vibe, if I get something new it will be lightweight and durable but you should see my future parts list already so I think these will do for quite a while.

hey everyone sorry for the long absence. I’ve had my truck at the body shop getting some frame reinforcement and my driver floor rebuilt. I just had the marlin crawler clutch kit new flywheel clutch fork, and all the transmission bolts replaced. I found a replacement fender on the forums I’m waiting to have shipped and I have a box full of parts I need to install once I have the truck back. Swapped all the fluids in the diffs transfer case and trans. New shifter bushings and seat, and boxed out the other shock mount. Next is steering rack and then suspension. Hope to have some photos up soon.
