I made sure to note this down in case I add a front locker. I always thought it was a no brainer to go with the ARB air lockers.

I always thought that as well, but the more I research adding lockers to a daily driver the more I realized electronic is the way to go

I am planning to install a new mirror with Temp and Compass. It comes with a temp sensor. The instructions are not to use the existing temp sensor. Can I simply remove the existing sensor?

They work and do tend to be less expensive, the issue for me is that with the air lockers I have to be mindful of the air compressor, the solenoid, the air line and it’s fittings. Then I can finally concern myself with the locker itself. That’s allot of failure points to deal with.

In my LandCruiser I have to be concerned with the switch, wiring harness, and the lockers. Allot less regular maintenance and failure points.

Don’t get me wrong, the air lockers work and they work well, except when they don’t because of leaks and solenoids. If you go the air route be prepared to do additional maintaining to ensure function.

I’ve been trying to get on their site but it doesn’t appear to be a safe connection. Tried several computers and methods but same results. Prices seem to good to be true, so I hope you get your order with no issues.

That was my young adult mistake... Now I'm changing over to a proper lift. But so much more damn expensive... :frusty:

replaced my 2011 spare tire hoist (cable type) with a chain type from a 2012. Or so it was listed on Ebay. Bolt pattern completely different. Good thing I like fabrication type stuff.

I changed because the cable was starting to fray, has a few broken strands

I took some rough measurements from someone else's tracks that were installed by leer and that's what I went off of. The pictures I'm uploading are measurements off of my truck. Front driver side. Depending on the stackers you get you have a little wiggle room. Don't freak out that the tracks don't sit parallel to the ground (there is an angle to tracks since shell isn't flat in that portion)
