My friend Doug was a Marine for five years. I asked him who he thought the most flatulent branch of the military was, and said the Marine Corps. I’m guessing people like the two of you have something to do with that!

I hope I will still have my Taco when so get married, so if I get divorced my wife won’t be entitled to it since I owned it for years prior to the marriage.

Or get a prenup to make sure wifey doesn’t get anything I owned prior to the marriage...

It seems like the husband always gets shafted in the divorce!

All of my cousins who are engaged or married did so in their 20s. I’m almost 31. One of my cousins who got a divorce after like 2 or 3 years says that because I haven’t found the right woman yet, it means my future wife will be both incredibly hot and willing to stick with me no matter what.

That happened to my uncle, though I’m unsure if he had the dog prior to the marriage.

If you sense divorce is imminent, sign the vehicles over to someone you trust and just pay them what you think the actual cash value is.

You can’t do that. Whatever property you have during the marriage a judge will issue an order for you to not sell any of it prior to the final judgment.

Friend just tried to do that with his Ford raptor, his ex wife got it in the divorce. Judges don’t like when people play games. Side note I’ll get to drive that raptor again when I go back to Hawaii on Thursday.

So there’s no way to protect MY TRUCK that I’ve legally owned since 2016 from a vengeful ex-wife?

Honestly no one gets married to get divorced. Asking your future wife to sign a paper saying she won’t seek your 11+ year old vehicle from you during a divorce would be very petty and cause distrust in the marriage right away. The end of my first marriage which was three years, we both agreed to a mutual separation to where we both left with our property. In place of alimony I paid a one time cash sum up front cause I knew she would take it in a heart beat. Every divorce is different and every woman is different. Is there away to keep your truck in case of divorce yes, but the distrust is causes for a couple thousand dollar vehicle won’t be worth it my friend.

Everything we made together in the marriage she got 25% so she made out pretty damn good, as well as we had to split the sale of a condo in Waikiki. The thing about divorce is you want to get out of the situation so bad you’ll pretty much do anything.
