Are the side mirrors not auto dimming?

Here's a perfect real world example. My coworker has a 2018 dodge journey with basic halogen headlights. He says he can't see a goddamn thing at night since the headlights are so shitty. He asked me about putting LED or HID bulbs in it and I explained how it'd blind the fuck outta other drivers. He didn't really seem to care. I could understand an older car with shitty headlights but a 2018?! C'mon.

 

I’m in the PNW so lots of these types of lights. But I’d say it’s a half half split between these and newer cars just with really bright LED lights. Especially in the rain/wet road it’s just super blinding.

 

Adjust your mirrors.

 

Maybe ridgeline has auto dimming side mirrors, would be good for those tired eyes after driving kids to soccer practice then going to the mall.

Not me. I’d rather pay less so cars can have no headlights. Fixes both problems.

 

I really don’t have any problems. Only time I notice is when someone has illegal aftermarket bulbs. We could just enforce the current rules and not add new ones.

Edit: I forgot to add that I drive in Baltimore metro where everyone is a kind of a dick when they drive.

Just get some Mobtown armor then take your mirrors off. People seem to find away to avoid you when your truck is armored up.

 

Why the fuck most guys with tacomas complain about every single thing? Its a well engineered, well built machine. Great for hauling shit, offroading and general driving. Its a midsize pick up truck, not a full size dodge long horn edition or ford laramie.

I think since nothing really goes wrong with the truck, they try to find something that pisses them off and must post about it online.

Seems like almost everyday there are threads whining about every single part of this truck.

Don't worry, I know how to make this better. Even though I don't own a 2016+ Tacoma I can add on to the bitching and whining about it. I'm doing my part!

As an aside, I drove a friends Tacoma from San Bernardino to San Diego, CA and thought it had decent power and the truck got over 20MPG. I thought that the truck drove well and everything worked fine.

Its like dont you do your research and test drive before you drop 40k? Instead buy a truck, then whine about it on TW.

Ummm, FCA. We had a 1996 Dodge with flawed headlights. The lights were horrible and it looks like they learned not a damn thing in the meantime.
