Hello everyone. I'm new from the TX gulf Coast. My first truck I ever had was a taco and i never should have gotten rid of it. I've been through, fords, chevy, dodge, and jeep, and found my way back to another taco and couldnt be more thrilled. I got bought it as it is in the photos. It has a leveling kit, a good audio system and decked out inside. As far as mods, it pretty much stock. But I do have a question. Do they come with a govener? I tested it out a few months back and hit 110 and it kept climbing but had to stop cause i was running out of room. I was looking at the motor and the shaft coming out of the motor to the fan is painted pink. I think it is reprogramed or something but it hauls @$$. But I have a long arm kit on my wish list a few motor mods, then Ill be on to cosmetics like fenders and baja bumpers. Thanks for reading. If you have any ideas as to what the motor may have had done to it let me know.

What's up fellas. Any of you guys capable of installing 5100 shocks and aal? About to buy the stuff I just really don't want to pay a shop to install. Or any recommendations on local shops?

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Do it yourself it's so easy if you have any mechanical skills. Ive only done it once on a 2nd gen and I could probably do it with my eyes closed.

If you're looking for help, best place to post is in your region thread... Also, talk of reckless driving and street racing is frowned upon here just an FYI. Not slamming you at all since we all like to know what our vehicles can do and we most always test them out. These trucks run pretty good right out of the box though, especially for a V6. Welcome from MT!

quite capable. i'd recommend finding a shop that can compress the springs and swap the shocks. much safer that way. everything else can be done easily. if you need help shoot me a pm and we can work something out.

Its cool man, I'm not a wreck-less driver I just had to test it out one time. As a firefighter I've seen what that type of driving does. Trust me I dont want to be known as one of those guys.

And yeah, I was just filling you in. Not trying to be an ass about it because I do those things too... I am pretty sure our governor is at 113 though. Anything you ever wanted to know is right here though!
