So ive been scouring the internet for the minimum tools needed for every nut, bolt and screw on a 3rd gen tacoma. I can't seem to find any list like that. to reiterate I'm not looking for billy bobs idea of the tools he thinks I need to have on my truck at all times to repair stuff, I'm asking what is the absolute minimum tools one would need to break loose or tighten any and all fasteners on a 3rd gen.

the internet is a deep dark place with less common sense then a barracks party on camp lejeune, with that being said this is what I am looking for

    2x 14mm open box wrench
    1x #2 phillips
    1x 7/16th Allen key
    etc
    etc
    etc.

thanks gents I'm sure you'll give me plenty of info to me informed and laughing for days on end.

Get a metric socket set and metric wrench kit. You’ll be good to go.

I don't know about that one. Had some dude's partying in our 3rd deck lounge for some boxing match, they decided to bring a grill inside the lounge to cook food. They were all piss drunk, one of them went to take a piss, came back and saw the smoke from the grill in the lounge, thought there was a fire, and proceeded to empty 2 fire extinguishers into the lounge.

    Some of Tools to have are 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 35 all in mm
(deep andshallow socket plus wrenches) wrenches and sockets to do just about anything on these things. I do recommend at least 2 19mm wrenches

Lol. Good luck. It’s also an access problem, so you’ll have to cover different wrench lengths, extensions and such, it’s not as easy as listing all the nut/bolt sizes. Also how far do you want to go? Into suspension / steering / engine etc, Then add any accessories from assholes who use imperial crap (That standard to philistines).
You’ll be far better off buying a few standard metric sets, keeping those in your truck, and using those to wrench on your truck, then add to it ever time you have to go to your real toolbox because something is missing.

There is a list on TW of the known socket size required for the 2nd gen Tacoma. Do a search. It’s in Mod’s & Tutorials, Second gen how to’s, List of sockets

If you really want to take the whole damn truck apart:
Set of shallow and deep metric sockets .
    Torx sockets
    Several extensions
    Small and medium pry bars
    Phillips screwdrivers
    Breaker bar
    Cordless angle grinder
    Sawsall

That should disassemble the entire truck way deeper than your ability to reassemble it.
