    that looks sweet, if i find a 4 runner with the hood scoop before the current body style (pre 02) will the hood fit my 98 taco?

    If you use a scratch remover the haze will come off the the lights. I have done it on many lights and it works great. It takes time but it works. I used the Kit car brand in the yellow bottle. Its like 2 bucks.

    Great job on the hood, just bought a 4Runner hood and will try to follow your steps on my Tacoma hood
    in the next few weeks, but will make mine functional for the supercharger to get the heat out of the engine bay.
    Do you advice using the 4Runner hood scoop supports (bracket) for the scoop or just leave the Tacoma supports, the hood frame the way they are and weld The scoop in.
    EDIT,
    GOT MINE DONE AND FUNCTIONAL for getting supercharger heat out of Bay Area.

    They do make a fiberglass one with hood pins for the front.

    It’s alot of work to make a scoop correctly like a stock looking
