Its cheap turkey time of year again and if you have someone who only eats chicken fingers well this is a pretty good call

Crap. I drew the night shift tonight to babysit intersections without power.

so I kept dinner simple while I get ready to run out the door.

white rice + fried eggs + nori flakes = BOOM !

White rice under a yolky fried egg is a highly under appreciated meal.

I have posted this in the smoking thread also but since I have nothing better to do I can just as well post here also.
Brunch this morning was steak on the pellet smoker with eggs, tomato and avocado.
Dinner was ribeyes, hasselback potatoes, smoked onions and green beans.
I love weekends when I can grill more than once a day.

This was my start to turkey soup yesterday. I put too many noodles in it but it still turned out ok.

Looks like we had similar ideas but I went potato instead of noodles. Cut up some carrots and a can of great northern, kidney beans and diced tomatoes. I also made some gravy with some beef bullion to thicken everything up. There was about half a squirrel worth of meat on that neck and tail but this should be pretty good with a slice of corn bread.
