    Hey guys!

There seems to be endless complaining about our beloved 3rd gen taco on TW. I think its a great truck, not perfect, but nothing in life is.

3rd gen Tacos got lots of character and they do make interesting noises sometimes, how can you not love these sexy, tough and go anywhere rigs?

Lets make this thread positive and fun. Post your favourite Taco pictures and a few things that you love about your truck.

I love the styling of the exterior and interior of my truck, get compliments all the time. Also love the fact that i could get MT with Double Cab. Lastly, I love the offroad capabilities even when its just stock.

Railroad tracks are in the way and the gravel isn't smooth. We'll have none of that getting along nonsense in here.....:rofl::rofl:

I’m grateful that I’ve been blessed to be able to afford such a nice truck. 2C5737DF-83EB-4836-822B-C7F10BF23579.jpg

Two years and 60,000 miles in, I have no regrets. Whether it's because the truck is dialed in, broken in, or I've just gotten used to it, none of the 3rd Gen's quirks bother me. She runs perfectly.

'18 DCLB AT Granted, there are a few quirks, but since Toyota didn't design it exclusively for me, I guess that's not terribly surprising. Overall, in almost 40 years of driving, and with this as at least my fourth bought-new, compact pick-up, it's the best vehicle I've ever owned.

No taco shins for this guy, I removed those stupid tube steps. Plus I know how to get in and out of a truck.

I test drove a 3rd Gen for the first time last weekend with my dad (2020 loaded TRD Offroad) and was pleasantly surprised. Auto Transmission felt smooth and wasn't hunting for gears at all.

6 months and 2400 miles on mine lol... love the truck! My third taco so far, but my first new one.

The *only* thing I find a bit annoying is the rear end whine, which is just a tad too intrusive IMO, but knowing that it's just a design quirk and not a problem puts my mind at ease. Everything else about the truck is perfect (including the auto trans).

My buddys 19 off road drives beautiful. Tranny shifts great, very well designed.

Its funny when people still complain about "hunting"

Funny you mentioned diff whining. The other day i was on highway and going 60-65 and noticed a very faint hum. My music was off and i could barely hear the hum. Does not bother me one bit.

Agreed. From what I've heard I fully expected the 2020 to be shifting gears every 2.1 seconds. :D
