Christmas bonus or not?

Was wondering who got a Christmas bonus and if you care to share, what?

I was handed an envelope last week the day before Thanksgiving with a check, 2 weeks pay!
One year here we had an awesome year and I got a months pay, thankful for whatever I get.

I worked at a landscape nursery my junior and senior year in high school and both summers, very physical work and both years I got a box of peanut brittle. I gave it to my dad cause I didn't like it.

What did you get or what do you expect?

 

My only bonus is overtime.

My employer is awesome! We're a small shop, me and one other guy out in the shop and the boss in the office. Been here 24+ years, hope to be another 30+ I love what I do!

 

No Christmas bonus I know of.
But we have a yearly performance bonus, so that's probably why. That bonus is split in bi-yearly payments.

It's a percent of annual salary.
The percent consists of company performance factor (how the company is doing) plus your personal contributing factor.

 

I'm expecting a 6% raise in my salary at the beginning of the new year! Woo hoo! Production has been good for 2019! But no Christmas bonus though, except for a ham or a turkey.

 

usually its a 50 dollar recharge on a prepaid card that we are somehow supposed to hang onto all year. Annual bonuses are based on company EBITDA, so they dont go out until April.

 

We usually get a christmas bonus around Thanksgiving. Its determined as a percentage of your yearly gross income.

 

I usually get mine this week or next week. It's never promised though, so we'll see.

 

Usually we give them out in the middle of December.

Man, that's a good question. I do get jealous y'all doing cool rides all the time. I've been by myself a couple of times lately, but I rarely have a full free day lately. Hopefully soon though.

 

I get to keep my job as a bonus for working hard all year.

No Christmas bonus, but we get a profit sharing bonus every September. Every employee gets the same amount. This year it equated to about 3 weeks pay for me

I've gotten year end bonuses from my employer for every year of the 15 I've worked here. We're a 300-400 person engineering consulting firm, and I don't think I've ever heard of someone getting nothing come bonus time. We've gotten excuses why they have been low (opened new offices... so overhead spiked), but we get at least something.

It's a nice perk, and one reason I came back to this company after leaving a while ago.

 

We get one every year right after the holiday and before the new year, it's a nice touch for sure. Usually about equal to half a month's pay. I put it toward covering all the holiday expenses that tend to creep up this time of year (gifts, holiday vacation, travel, etc.)

 

Fastenal gives us a Christmas box with snacks in it every year. The magic was lost a little when I was at a DC in the middle of September and all the Christmas boxes were already to go on pallet racking.

 

My bonus was a promotion. I’ll take it
