not quite. Vulcanization is a process that allows holes too large for a plug/patch to be repaired. It's not very common in the US due to liability reasons + tire places would rather sell you a new one


Grooving is cutting more tread into the tire. Its common for semi and trailer tires

 

damn I haven't gotten off two times in one morning since I was in my early 20s

I was relieved to learn that you can get them to go away when they happen in bed by stretching with your toes pointed upward...something about how it aligns the muscles in your leg makes the Charlie horse disappear almost instantly. But I was standing when this one happened and couldn't figure out how to do that before it kicked in lol
