You need other tools. 36mm socket for the axle nut, pry bar, plastic baggy, different sized races, etc

im debating not doing the diff drop until im ready to do that, id rather not add more wear and tear to it until its time to swap it out. i may just throw the front skid on for now.

it will change the angle of the drive shaft that puts more stress on it i believe, so it would accelerate any wear on the needle bearing

right but if i can prolong it until i can knock it out i think thats the best move. its only 4 bolts, could knock it out whenever i decide to do ecgs bushing.

not at the moment, are they cracking like the first gen stuff? - also, are they the same as 4th gen T4rR LCAs? (because I have a pair of those at the shop I could look at)

I don't think they are cracking. I also don't think they are the same as the 4th gens. Maybe @Arcticelf would know that

I think the arms are the same, but the bushings for the alignment cams are different. Like the 2nd vs 3rd gen taco.

Don't bother with a diff drop at all. The risk of putting the diff closer to rocks is far greater an any benefit you'll see from 1/2 degree of CV angle.
